All warranty and fault claims will be assessed by Clearance Kings Gold Coast.
Where a product is found to have a manufacturing fault or does not meet consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, we may provide a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.
Not Considered Faults
The following are not considered faults:
Minor colour variations
Variations in grain, texture, or appearance of natural materials
Minor manufacturing tolerances
General wear and tear
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper care, or accidental damage
Natural softening of cushions and foam over time
Natural creasing, stretching, markings, or texture variations in leather
Variations in fabric texture, weave, pile direction, or colour shade
Natural movement, expansion, contraction, weathering, fading, or checking of timber products exposed to indoor or outdoor conditions
Natural Materials
Many of our products are made using natural materials, including timber, leather, fabric, rattan, and stone.
As a result, each piece may vary slightly in colour, grain, texture, pattern, or finish. These variations are natural characteristics of the material and are not considered manufacturing faults.
Timber Furniture
Products made from teak, acacia, and other natural timbers may naturally change in colour, develop surface checking, expand, contract, or weather over time, particularly when used outdoors. These characteristics are normal and are not considered manufacturing faults.
Leather & Fabric Furniture
Leather and fabric upholstery will naturally soften, settle, and develop characteristics through normal use.
Creasing, stretching, comfort wrinkles, slight shade variations, and changes in appearance over time are normal characteristics and are not considered manufacturing faults.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
This covers about 95% of the common "fault" complaints furniture retailers receive while still respecting customers' ACL rights.
